Five Reasons You Should Read my Autobiography, Alcoholic Doctor

This Book Contains Only the Truth about an Extraordinary Life

As a retired consultant, I am offering you the complete, unfiltered and unabridged truth about my life. I do not have to worry about losing my job or my medical reputation, so I have written this book with complete honesty – something rare in these times.

Medical professionals are notoriously secretive. In my book, you will learn the reality behind obtaining a medical degree, and the strain of working long hours in operating rooms and hospitals. How my colleagues and former classmates turned to drug abuse, my dependence upon alcohol and how the pursuit of casual relationships with the opposite sex inevitably becomes involved.

I Was Whistleblower for Negligence in the NHS

Having worked at the top level in India, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, I have real perspective of medical practice in these vastly different cultures.

I greatly admire the NHS, but it is not without its flaws. This book details the true story of when I was the whistleblower of a negligent consultant, and the consequences for my family, my health and my career.

Outside the UK, I experienced bullying from senior consultants, witnessed a ward round which overlooked a dead patient and incorrectly removed a patient’s leg because of false information.

You Will Learn Real, Practical Advice for Achieving Higher Goals, and Reaching Your Potential

Anyone looking to reach the very top of their profession can learn from my story. Despite suffering child abuse and being put down time and again, I persevered with grit, determination and my strong powers of intuition.

I reached the very highest level in my field of orthopaedic surgery. However this achievement did not depend on money, which I never had from the beginning.

This book contains the knowledge I have collected over almost 70 years of life, and what I believe is the true route to maximising your own potential.

The Book Contains a Message of Faith

My book, as it reflects my life, contains a strong message of faith. Although I am a Hindu, I believe in the truth of all religions. My faith in God has remained unbroken throughout my life, while I have never relied upon other human beings for help.

For me, God enabled my independence, self-reliance and was a constant driving force in enabling me to achieve all that I have.

Beyond this, I have natural powers of intuition and have studied astrology, palmistry and card reading, which I believe helped me and can be relied on with some accuracy.

My Life is a Story of Hope and Healing

This book is an autobiography which tells a story of hope, healing, love of nature and unique lived experiences.

My whole life I worked to heal others in my profession. Since retirement, I live a life in an upper-class London suburb. However after fatigue and difficult experiences later in my career, and an uptake in my alcohol consumption, my focus has been on healing myself. Writing this book is part of that process, where I have opened my heart and truly poured out everything which I have faced and felt in my life.
