Review: I highly recommend getting the first two volumes together to really get into story. Personally, I was still wavering at the end of Saga, Vol. 1 about if I liked this tale enough to continue but by the end of Vol. 2 I was hooked!
Saga an epic story that at its centre has the love story of star-crossed Marko and Alana, soldiers on opposites sides of a war. They are parents to new born Hazel who is the narrator. I REALLY enjoyed Hazel’s narration. 🙂
There are many characters, politics and so much story…. Saga is brilliant and complex. The artwork is great. There is so much to take in that it feels a little overwhelming. I am excited to read the next instalments but also, I plan to re-read volumes as I believe that this series will benefit from revisiting because there is so much content.
