Review: The Ink House is a visually stunning picture book. Predominately in black and white each page has beautifully illustrations of the house guests that visit. There is also a little extra treat at the end where you can re-visit the story to find the smallest visitors, but I don’t want to give too much away. 🙂
My critique for this book would be that it really is all about the art. The story isn’t that detailed. With the owner is gone, a menagerie of visitors descends.
The enjoyment of The Ink House is derived from the illustrations and they deliver plentiful.
