Stacking the Shelves #49

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It’s a chance to show what books you’ve added to your library in the past 7 days. These can be bought books, borrowed, review copies, any which way they come to you.

I went to Ireland for my holiday, apart from wonderful scenery and meeting amazing people I also bought a few *coughs* books. They don’t count on holiday. Right?

Gifted:

Where Things Come Back by John Corey Whaley
If I Lie by Corrine Jackson
Liar & Spy by Rebecca Stead
Pivot Point by Kasie West

Thank you @mariekeyn

Denise Deegan gave me shiny new set of her books (which I love) as well as the German translation of And By The Way (Wer braucht schon Liebe) looking forward to seeing how that compares.

  1. I’ve read the entire Sisters Grimm series and enjoyed it – until the epilogue. I had some problems with how some of that was handled. I also read Picture Me, but was not impressed. You can find my review for that one here if you’re interested, but there ARE spoilers so you’ll want to wait until after you’ve read it and formed your own opinion 🙂

On my ‘to read’ list are Fortunately, the Milk by Neil Gaiman, Every Day by David Levithan and I think that’s it. Until I look all of these up, of course!

  2. Oh I’ve read Pivot Point and it’s ah-mazing! I’m also looking forward to reading Killing Woods as I’ve heard so many positive reviews about it and also because it’s Lucy Christopher. ❤

    Thanks for dropping by! 🙂

  3. Wow that is an impressive haul this week. I need to go look at some of these in more detail as I have never heard of a lot of them and they look amazing!
Just finished Time After Time, thought it was a really great sequel so hope you enjoy it!

  4. WOW! Awesome haul! I haven’t read all the Sisters Grimm series but the ones I have read I adored! I really want to read Fortunately, the Milk, Goth Girl, Everyday, Shadowlark (Still need to read Skylark though!), Liar & Spy and Briar Rose also look amazing! I have Pivot Point and The Great Unexpected on my Kindle to read! 😀

    Enjoy your new books!

  5. Great haul, Luna! Pivot Point is great! I can’t wait to know what you think of it. I requested Crash into You from Netgalley and Edelweiss but I don’t think they’ll grant me. Sad. But I’m glad you got it and I hope you enjoy your books! 🙂

  6. You’ve got so many great books here! I haven’t read If I Lie by Jackson, but I’ve heard it is wonderful. I’ve read Touched by Jackson, though, and loved it. I also just recently got Pushed (the sequel to Touched) from Netgalley, and I cannot wait to read that one.

And seriously yay for Crash Into You. Katie McGarry is the best!

Enjoy your goodies and happy reading 🙂

  7. Oh my God, I’m dying to read Huntress! Actually, I’d love to get a hand on any of Malindo Lo’s books; I’ll have to go forage the bookstores again.
Loved the haul. I’ve added at least a dozen new books to my TBR list thanks to this, which is not necessarily a good thing but oh well.

  8. Wow, you got a ton of books! I just finished Time After Time and really enjoyed it, but I haven’t read any of the others. I hadn’t heard of a few of them, so I’m off to check them out and probably add them to my tbr. 😉 Happy reading!

  9. So many great books! Pivot Point was wonderful, and I can’t wait to read the sequel, Split Second. I liked Starters, even though it was hard to get past all of the similarities to The Hunger Games. The 100 was a disappointment – I’m hoping the TV show will be better! Finally, Every Day was really, really good.

Enjoy all your books and thanks for visiting!

  11. WOW! Such a great haul!!! Truly, Madly, Deadly was really good! I loved Pivot Point, which I just read last month. AMAZING!! So many awesome books!! I have quite a few of the same – apparently we have very similar taste in books. 🙂 Enjoy your goodies!

  12. OMGOSH WHAT IS THIS?! * ^ * Haha, STARTERS cover freaked me out a bit because I was just trying to get used to the other cover but then that cover popped up. XD LOVELY DARK AND DEEP sounds so amazing and something about that cover looks amazing. So jelly that you got EVERY DAY. O___O ZOMG your pile is amazing. I mean…it never hurts to buy books…on a vacation, right? ;D

HAVE A FABULOUS TIME READING SUCH AWESOME BOOKS!!! ^^

  13. Wowza, that is some haul. I see a lot of books in there I’d like to read as well. Everyone is saying How to Love is really good, so I want to pick up that one soon. I hope you love Pivot Point! I thought it was so good. I can’t wait for the sequel to come out. asdfghjfds Enjoy your books! 😀

  14. Whoa, good haul this week. I loved If I Lie, and Crash into Me is in my stack this week too. I’ll definitely need to check out that Goth Girl book. Have a good week!

  15. Whoa, so many great books this week!
I absolutely LOVED If I Lie (it’s such a sad book too) and Every Day.
I also love that cover of Time After Time, I wish that was the US cover. I’m also excited to read How to Love. I’ve been hearing nothing but great things about that one.
Enjoy all your lovely books & thanks for stopping by my STS! (:

  16. Oh my freaking goodness! Will you be able to read all of these, Luna? You just bought the bookstore, girl. Hahaha. Pivot Point is definitely on my TBR list as well as Crash Into You. Surprisingly, I haven’t started reading the first two books but I am bumping them on my TBR list.

Have fun reading all your beauties, Luna! And thanks for stopping by my STS!
