200 words (or less) review:  Honestly the only reason I bought this book was because I found it in the bargain bucket at a local discount bookstore. I’ve never been a short story fan. Once I saw Carrie Ryan, Sarah Rees Brennan & Jackson Pearce had contributed stories I was a bit more enthusiastic.

Some of the stories, such as Melissa Marr & Kelley Armstrong’s contribution, I didn’t finish as it became clear that they were part of existing works by the author that I hadn’t yet read. Or only read the first book, so I felt like I’d spoil things by finishing them. I was pleasantly surprised by a few and actually liked Red Run and At The Late Night, Double Feature, Picture Show best.

The fact that quite a few of the contributions are part of existing works makes it harder to rate. Had I not read As You Wish by Jackson Pearce I doubt I’d have enjoyed Things About Love as much as I did.

Overall there are enough good stories and I’ll be a looking up a couple of authors on the back of this.
